2009-2023
Healium Hair Inc.
I led Healium Hair through the most demanding season of my life—growing a consumer brand while solo-parenting young teens after my husband’s passing in 2017. I wore every hat from product to P&L, built systems that could run without me in the room, and in 2023 I made the strategic decision to sell the business and pass the torch. It’s a story of resilience, operational rigor, and customer-obsessed brand building.
The Mission

Founder-Set vision, annual operating plans, KPIs, budgets, and cash-flow discipline. Balanced growth with survivability; made hard calls quickly and kindly. Fun Fact: I have every monthly calendar I worked since 2009!
Product & R&D
Led concept-to-shelf development: briefed labs, selected actives, tested iterations, locked formulas, and stewarded packaging—from compliance labels to shelf-readable design.
Brand & Creative Director
Defined brand voice, visual system, and standards. Wrote copy, designed campaigns, and ensured everything—from website to bottle
Supply Chain & Operations
Forecasted demand, scheduled production runs, managed vendors, controlled MOQs, negotiated costs, set inventory thresholds, and built SOPs for ordering, receiving, and QA.
E-commerce & Digital
Owned the site, product pages, photography/video needs, email flows, SMS, and promo calendars. Measured funnel performance and improved conversion and repeat purchase.
Wholesale & Channel Sales
Opened and nurtured salon, distributor, and retail accounts. Built programs for education, merchandising, sampling, and re-order cadence.
Customer Experience
Ran support with a “white-glove” policy—fast responses, generous "make it right" policies, and product knowledge. Turned problems into loyalty.
Finance & Compliance
Managed bookkeeping, AP/AR, inventory valuation, pricing, and margin models. Ensured product, labeling, and claims met regulatory requirements.
People & Culture Recruited employees and vendors, set expectations, and coached talent to higher standards with clarity and care.
Built credible relationships with stylists, salon owners, and industry voices. Secured collaborations, education events, and placements that moved both brand and revenue.​
The Human Reality
After 2017, I carried two full-time jobs: building a company and raising teenagers. Ultimately, I recognized that real balance meant choosing sustainability for my family and for the brand. In 2023, I sold Healium Hair and ensured a thoughtful transition so the next team could run with it.

Where I've Been

Strategic Claim Consultants
When I walked into a Fortune 5000 company, nothing had a home—no procedures, no protocols, no shared way of working. Onboarding was improvised, the CRM was a patchwork, and even simple tasks like ordering business cards stalled. I started with a listening tour and a whiteboard: mapped how work actually moved (or didn’t) and identified the friction point. From there, I wrote and implemented clear SOPs for the entire employee lifecycle, then automated onboarding and offboarding so credentials, devices, and compliance steps triggered themselves. I reworked the CRM and trained staff with standards, fields, and dashboards that turned activity into insight—clean data in, useful forecasts out. I walked partnership through data and metrics systems merger after a Private Equity purchase. Finally, I trained teams and set a cadence of check-ins. The result was a company that knew where to go for answers, how to execute repeatably, and how to see its pipeline, people, and operations in real time—replacing chaos with a living, scalable operating rhythm. I coordinate people, info, & logistics so sales & field stay focused on selling and service.
